Official MCP servers for Japanese services (2026)

This page lists only MCP servers that the vendors of widely used Japanese SaaS products publish themselves. Each one was checked against the vendor’s official documentation or official GitHub repository on 2026-10-15. Configs are copied from those docs, with API keys left as placeholders.

freee-mcp

What it does: Operate nine freee areas from chat: accounting, HR & payroll, invoicing, time tracking, sales, IT management, tax filing, fixed assets and business start-up (for example “create an invoice” or “show this month’s trial balance”).

Notes: The remote version is hosted by freee; you only sign in to freee and approve the app. freee asks you to install its Agent Skills (freee-api-skill.zip) so the AI uses the tools correctly. An open-source local version (npx freee-mcp) is also available.

Money Forward Cloud Accounting MCP

What it does: Read business info and fiscal-year settings, get, create and update journal entries, get trial balances and trends, read accounts, partners, departments and tax categories, and create bank transaction records.

Notes: Free for Cloud Accounting and Tax Return users. An admin must first enable the App Portal and grant permissions. API-key authentication (Mf-API-Key header) is available for working across several businesses, but as of 24 September 2026 Claude Desktop and Claude Web do not support it.

What it does: Get, add, update and delete kintone records, change app fields and layouts, process management, and manage spaces.

What it does: Exposes 31 Chatwork API v2 operations as tools, covering rooms, messages, tasks, files and contacts.

These servers handle accounting and HR data, so check that your AI tool is set not to use your inputs for training (freee’s terms ask for this).
Never commit config files that contain API keys or passwords.
Local servers run with your permissions. Read the security checklist first.
